Meeting the Maffi Racing F4 team in Barcelona

Getting a first feel of the Taatus T421 F4 Car after an interesting weekend of Italian F4

After winning the FIA International Esports Trophy for Maffi Esports, I had the chance to take an important next step. Maffi Racing invited me to join them in Barcelona during the Italian F4 weekend, where I got a first-hand look at how a top-level single seater program operates.

Over the weekend I learned a lot about the series and about how the team works behind the scenes. I spent time with the engineers going through the car in detail, and I also had the chance to hear directly from the drivers about their approach and preparation. It was a real insight into what the future could look like.

The highlight was getting to know the cockpit of the F4 car itself. Sitting in the car and running through the controls was the perfect way to prepare for my first Formula 4 test, which will take place on October 16 at Circuit de Bresse, as part of the Auto Sport Suisse Young Drivers Program.

This experience was a big milestone. It connected the success in esports with real-world motorsport, and it set the stage for what comes next. The preparation has begun, and I cannot wait to take the wheel for the first time.
